Manuel Rocas was born in Luxembourg in 1975. He entered the primary school in Weimerskirch and then the Lycée Technique des Arts et Métiers. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and at the University of Luxembourg.
For the architect or urban planner, it is a question of understanding the place before considering any project. In order to understand it, he has to analyse it from a number of different aspects. Whether it is historical, socio-cultural or economic research, the results will provide clues to help create spaces that are consistent with the spirit of the place.
