Manolis Manarakis, is a Greek sculptor who lives and works in Luxembourg. He has a mixed educational and work background, which includes economy and education. These studies and experiences cannot but influence his work and artistic approach. In Fine Art he has a BA (DeMontfort University, 2010) and an MFA (Anglia Ruskin University, 2012). He primarily works in clay, wood, resin and bronze but he is also working on a (ongoing) digital series that derives directly from his tactile work. He is also involved in the theatre in scenic design and creation. His main theme is the human body; he sees the figure as the most traditional and contemporary subject.
